Major changes to A Touch Soothing in 2025!
Marjorie is going back to college part-time starting January 2025. The current plan is to earn a bachelors and then apply to the Occupational Therapy Graduate Program at SJSU. She prides herself in her skills of therapeutic bodywork accrued in the past eleven years, but she needs to be realistic for her career trajectory in later decades.
For Spring 2025, this means she is working Mondays and Fridays with every other Sunday and Wednesday. With work hours decreasing and expenses increasing, Marjorie will be implementing:
Separate Cash and Credit Card Price Menus to navigate the merchant fees amongst various credit cards
A stricter Cancellation Policy where you will be charged for missed services unless someone is able to take you place up until time of service.
Individual Service Prices will increase for all $15 by February 1st. Credit Card Menu will factor in the amount needed to keep the increase after merchant fees.
Packages at a 10% discount effective immediately. Packages have been at 18%/20% discount and the practice can’t sustain the loss margin. Packages will increase with the February 1st price increase.
Please keep in mind that A Touch Soothing is a practice focused on treatment plans to help improve neuromuscular condition symptoms with 1-6 session sequences.

Marjorie Pomeroy is dedicated to alleviating impingements in soft tissue. She incorporates Art Riggs’ Deep Tissue Techniques, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and Meridian Massage in her clients’ treatment plans. Setting reasonable and reachable goals for your pain relief is what set Marjorie apart in her field.
Her practice is located inside Glow Skin and Body Care at 160 South Blvd, San Mateo, CA. She is able to keep it clean and maintain Covid-19 protocols.
